SOPREMA is committed to using less carbon-intensive materials and to developing bio-based solutions. For example, our wood fibre insulation and our Mammoth Neo waterproofing membrane, made from vegetable oil, are flagship products in this approach. These innovations significantly reduce CO2 emissions during the production of materials while maintaining optimal performance. Our goal is to reduce embodied carbon in buildings by minimizing the impact of material extraction, manufacturing, and end-of-life.

We have rethought the way we install our products to reduce the carbon footprint of construction sites. For example, Single-layer mechanically fastened, flameless sealing has major advantages, reducing emissions by 30-40% compared to traditional methods.
In addition, the optimisation of transport, with short circuits and low-carbon modes of transport such as river freight, makes it possible to reduce emissions related to material logistics.
